Obituary of Gloria Kay Crenshaw

Funeral services for Gloria Kay Crenshaw, age 62, of Bastrop, LA are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, May 24, 2014 at the Chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Phillip McCready officiating. Interment will follow in Carter Cemetery, Collinston. Visistation will be held from 12 noon until 2 p.m. Saturday. Mrs. Crenshaw, a member of Central Missionary Baptist Church and employee of Golden Funeral Home, passed away Thursday, May 22, 2014 at Morehouse General Hospital. She was formerly employed for over thirty three years with Dickie Industries, Pelican Plug and Southern Plug. She is survived by her husband, Joe Crenshaw; mother, Frances O'Neal Wilson of Lawrenceburg, TN; special daughter, LaTrendalea "L.T." Pickering; two brothers, Ralph Laverne Daniels of Mer Rouge, LA, Herbert Lee Daniels of Murfreesboro, TN and special friends, Louise Rearden and Rachel Villarreal. Serving as pallbearers are: Chuck Echols, Bob Green, Kenneth Langston, Ted Fontenot, Jason Baker and Bardell Bostick. Honorary pallbearer is David Mayfield. Kay's favorite thing to do was spend time with her husband Joe. She was known for her smile and the true friendship that she displayed to those that were fortunate enough to be her friend.
