Obituary of Sandra Wallace

Funeral services for Mrs. Sandra Wallace, age 64, of Bastrop, LA are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, May 31, 2014 at the Chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Robby Lawson officiating. Interment will follow in Carter Cemetery (Collinston). Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Friday at Golden Funeral Home. Mrs. Wallace, a retired school bus driver and member of the Baptist faith passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at Saint Francis Specialty Hospital. She loved fishing, hunting, working in her yard and spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband of 48 1/2 years, John Wayne Wallace; two sons, Ronald Wallace and wife Melanie of Bastrop, LA, Robby Wallace and wife Tina of Bastrop, LA; sister, Barbara Sisk and husband Rocky of Farmerville, LA; brother, Gary Gandy of Farmerville, LA; six grandchildren, Ryan Wallace, Trevor Wallace, Bryce Wallace, Avery Wallace, Riley Wallace, C.J. Morgan; great grandchildren, Chloe Wallace, Emery Wallace, Jase Wallace, Jaakan Morgan and Daxton Crenshaw. Mrs. Wallace is preceded in death by her parents, James Max and Betty Jane Gandy. Serving as pallbearers are her grandsons, Ryan Wallace, Trevor Wallace, Bryce Wallace and her nephews, Dewayne Rogers, Teddy Rogers, Chris Gandy and T.W. Wallace. Honorary pallbearer is William Gorman.
