Graveside service for Dorothy Kearns Massee, 89, of Bastrop are scheduled for 10:30 AM Friday, December 23, 2005 at Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Cal Adams officiating.
Mrs. Massee, a homemaker and member of Cherry Ridge Baptist Church, passed away Sunday, December 18, 2005 at Cherry Ridge Guest Care.
She is survived by one daughter, Georgia Amerson and her husband James of Bastrop, LA; one son, Ned Massee and his wife Nell of Fairfield, CT; five grandchildren, James Amerson, Jay Amerson, Jan Harris, Ned Massee, Jr., Peter Massee; five great grandchildren, Ethan Harris, Jeremiah Amerson, Cagney Amerson, Daniel Harris and Keith Amerson.
Mrs. Massee is preceded in death by her husband, Max Massee; parents, Jay and Bertha Kearns; two sisters, Constance Rundell and Geraldine Manjero.
Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, December 22, 2005 from 2 PM until 5 PM at Golden Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Cherry Ridge Baptist Church at 1005 Cherry Ridge Rd., Bastrop, LA 71220.
