Obituary of Jewel Anna Jordan Couch

View Video Tribute Funeral services for Jewel Anna Jordan Couch, age 88, are scheduled for 8:30 a.m. Sunday April 15, 2007 at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. R.H. McCuin officiating. Interment will follow in Warner Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday evening at Golden's from 5-8 p.m. Mrs. Couch, a retired beautician, passed away Wednesday April 11. 2007. She was born July 4, 1918 in Winn Parish. She was a resident of Bastrop and a member of Hillview Freewill Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, James E. Couch; daughter, April Couch; parents, Robert & Ida Jordan; sister, Lois Welch; and brothers, Ira Jordan, Robert Jordan, Buck Jordan. She is survived by daughters, Joy Warner & husband Wayne of Bastrop, Judy Barton & husband Charles "C.C" of Monroe; five grandchildren, Louis W. Warner Jr. & wife Pam of Bastrop, Lisa Green of Sterlington, Dr. Charles Barton & wife Yi-Wen of Des Moines, IA, Stacey Church & husband Dean of Branson, MO, Cristie Barton of Monroe; six great grandchildren, Amanda Warner, Amy Warner, both of Bastrop, JoAnna Stanley, Logan Stanley, both of Sterlington, Christopher Barton, Anna Marie Barton, both of Des Moines, IA; sister, Betty McNeely & husband Bill of Winnfield; sisters-in-law, Eunice Jordan of Tullos, Charlene Jordan of Shreveport, Lottie Jordan of Urania. Serving as pallbearers will be Louis W. Warner, Jr., Dr. Charles Barton, Christopher Barton, Logan Stanley, Dean Church, and Mark McNeely.
