Funeral services for Mrs. Daisy Mae Calhoun, age 92, of Bastrop, LA, are scheduled for 3 pm Thursday, June 26, 2014 in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Post officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1 pm until 3 pm service time at Golden Funeral Home.
Mrs. Calhoun, a homemaker, passed away Monday, June 23, 2014. She was a member of Cherry Ridge Baptist Church and Campers on Mission.
She is survived by daughter, JoAnn Lowry and husband Clarence of Bastrop, LA; son, James Calhoun and wife Gaye of Magnolia, AR; grandchildren, Elizabeth McDowell and husband Greg, Edwin Lowry and wife Yolanda, Heath Calhoun and wife Deborah, Telena Wallace and husband Jason, Tracy Rosett and husband Ronnie; great grandchildren, Jennifer Henson, Jonathan Wilson, Lance Lowry, Ryley Calhoun; great great grandchildren, Baylee Henson, Blaz Henson, Joseph Blane Henson, L.J. Wilson.
Mrs. Calhoun is preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd "Snow" Calhoun and grandson, Joseph Lowry.
