Obituary of Troy C. Bryan

Funeral services for Troy C. Bryan, 57, of Bastrop, LA, will be on Monday, June 30, 2014 at 2 pm at Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Andy Johnson officiating. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 29, 2014 from 5pm-7pm. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Bryan was born August 21, 1956 , in Monroe, LA, and passed away June 27, 2014. Mr. Bryan worked in the warehouse at Malone & Hyde and Brookshires for 30+ years. Troy's life would seem short to many, but those that were touched by him knew the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. Troy was a true outdoorsman that loved hunting and fishing, but most of all loved spending time with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, William "Bill" Bryan and mother, Rose Vallery Bryan. He leaves his memories to be cherished by his loving wife of 26 years, Mary Christmas Bryan; son, Matt Spikes and wife Beth; brother, Tim Bryan and wife Carolyn; grandchildren, Abbi and Grant; and a host of nieces and nephews. Family members will serve as pallbearers.
