Obituary of Flossie Riles

Funeral services for Flossie Griffis Riles, 77, of Bastrop, LA are scheduled for 10 AM Thursday, December 22, 2005 at the United Pentecostal Church with Rev. Arrie Fulton and Rev. Dwight Fulton officiating. Interment will follow at Hughes Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Mrs. Riles, a homemaker and charter member of Antioch Baptist Church, passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2005 at Oak Woods Home For the Elderly. She is survived by two daughters, Betty Brown and her husband Allen of Bastrop, LA, Clara Malloy and her husband Dan of Bossier City, LA; son, Roy E. Riles and his wife Laura of Bastrop, LA; sister, Margie Johnston of Kilgore, TX; six grandchildren, Rodney Riles, Regina Carroll, Angie Morris, Allen Brown, Doug Malloy, Jennifer Dietrich and twelve great grandchildren. Mrs. Riles is preceded in death by her husband, Roy H. Riles and parents, Claude and Annie Griffis. Serving as pallbearers will be Rodney Riles, Doug Malloy, Allen Brown, Shane Morris, Ty Carroll, Jared Carroll, Mark Riles and Dennis Riles. Honorary pallbearer will be Bobby Riles. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 21, 2005 from 5 PM until 9 PM at the church.
