Obituary of Jessie Elizabeth Delamar

Funeral services for Mrs. Jessie Elizabeth Delamar, age 91, are scheduled for 3 p.m. Monday, August 25, 2008 at Faith Baptist Church, Bastrop, with Rev. Paul Carter officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, Bastrop, under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Sunday from 5-9 p.m. at Faith Baptist Church. Mrs. Delamar, a resident of Bastrop, passed away Saturday, August 23, 2008. She was a retired employee of the Office of Family Support and a member of Faith Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, C.W. Delamar; son, Billy Mack Delamar, Sr.; her parents; four sisters; and two brothers. She is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth Ann Childers & husband Thomas of Crossett, AR, Sue Cote & husband Mike of Bastrop, LA; two sons, George Delamar & wife Eddie of Bastrop, LA, Gary Delamar & wife Floye of Baton Rouge, LA; twenty grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter; and numerous nieces and nephews. Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
