Obituary of Faye Priddy

Funeral services for Mrs. Faye Priddy, of Bastrop, LA, are scheduled for Sunday, July 13 at 2 PM in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Mr. Joe Nichols officiating. Interment will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Priddy was a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church and a retired Walmart employee. She passed away Thursday, July 10, 2014 at the age of 82. Visitation will be Saturday, July 12, 2014 from 5 - 7 PM at Golden Funeral Home. Mrs. Priddy is preceded in death by her husband, J.D. Priddy; parents, David Albert Sherman Sr. and Albie Sherman; sister, Lelia Ann Murphy; brothers, Bill Sherman and David Sherman; nephew, Mark Murphy. Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Donna Stevenson and husband Gary, and Diann Stapleton and husband Charles; grandchildren, Brandon Stevenson and wife Angie, Heath Stevenson and wife Brittney, Holley Hall and husband Casey, and Courtney Johnson and husband Chris. She is also survived by her great grandchildren, Madelyn Stevenson, Riley Stevenson, Shelby Hall, Dylan Hall, Kolby Bush, Blaine Johnson, and Tyler Russell Johnson. Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Sherman, Mike Bennett, Chance Eppinette, J.D. Rogers, Casey Hall, and Chris Johnson. Honorary pallbearers will be Lynn Eppinette, Bobby Musgrove, and Travis Jackson.
