Obituary of Linda L. Robbins

Funeral services for Linda L. Robbins, age 65, of Jones, LA are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, July 19, 2014 at Bonita First Baptist Church with Rev. Doug Edwards officiating. Interment will follow in LA-Ark Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Saturday, July 19, 2014 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. service time at the church. Ms. Robbins, a retired employee of Farmland, passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2014 in Monroe, LA. She was a member of Bonita First Baptist Church.Ms. Robbins enjoyed spending time with her family playing card games and being outside. She is survived by her daughter, Wanza Marie Robbins of Tyler, TX; Charles Lawson Kennedy and wife Everyl-Ann of Ponchatoula, LA; sisters, Earleen Herring and husband Dale of Jones, LA, Shirley West and husband Owens of Jones, LA, Linda Diane Barthol and husband Jr. of Bastrop, LA, Vertie Mae Smith and husband Travis of El Dorado, AR, Mary Freeman of White Hall, AR, Lois Pannell and husband Roger of New Albany, MS, Sharon Ann Mayo and husband Bobby of Jones, LA; brothers, Robert Frisby and wife Myrtle of Toledo Bend, LA, Gary Frisby and wife Debbie of Bonita, LA, Lamar Frisby and wife Flo of Dermott, AR; grandchildren, Brett and Brooks Kennedy, both of Meridian, MS. Ms. Robbins is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Donald Frisby, Walter James Frisby and sister, Lois Laverne Frisby. Pallbearers will be Jamie Frisby, Bobby Jackson, Terry Lynn Young, Sean Jackson, Christopher Barthol and Steven Eppinette.
