Funeral services for Mr. Jim "J-Bo" Stewart, age 54, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, July 27, 2014 at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. C.S. Cascio officiating. Interment will follow in Carter Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday from 5-8 at Golden Funeral Home.
Mr. Stewart, a resident of Collinston, LA, passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2014. He is preceded in death by his father, Harry Dewitt Stewart, and two brothers, Jerry "Win" Stewart and Harry Dee Stewart.
Mr. Stewart was a devoted fan of the New Orleans Saints.
He is survived by his daughter, Rachel Leigh Stewart and son-in-law, Bubba Farrar of Bastrop, LA; step-son, Eric Trichell of Bastrop, LA; mother, Wilma Nell Stewart of Collinston, LA; brother, David Howell Stewart of Bastrop, LA; and his loyal dog, Boudreaux Bodine Bouche.
Serving as pallbearers are Damon Wade, Rusty Wimbish, David Allen Farrar, Jason Potter, Matt Dykes, and Jeffery Harvey. Ronnie Ramshur is an honorary pallbearer.
