Obituary of Deborah Jean Faulkenberry Capers

Funeral services for Mrs. Deborah Jean Faulkenberry Capers, age 61, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday, July 28, 2014 at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Post officiating. Interment will follow in Bonne Idee Cemetery, Mer Rouge, LA. Visitation will be held 5-8 p.m. Sunday at Golden Funeral Home. Debbie, a resident of Bastrop, LA, passed away Friday, July 25, 2014. She is preceded in death by her father, Hugh "Petite" Faulkenberry. Debbie was a homemaker and loved the outdoors. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, cooking, camping, fishing, and hunting. She also loved collecting Coca-Cola memorabilia. She is survived by her husband, Chris Capers of Bastrop, LA; mother, Frances Faulkenberry of Bastrop, LA; sons, Brad Perry of Bastrop, LA, Benjy Perry and wife Carol of Bastrop, LA, Brian Perry and girlfriend Natalie of Memphis, TN; sister, Dera Blackwell of Bastrop, LA; brothers, Dennis Faulkenberry of Bastrop, LA, Mike Faulkenberry of Bastrop, LA; grandchildren, Michelle Wallace and husband Ryan, Morgan Perry, Cole Perry, Hunter Perry; and great grandchildren, Chloe Wallace, Emery Wallace, Jase Wallace, Hayden Perry, Kalem Johnson, and Camden Johnson. Serving as pallbearers are Todd Faulkenberry, Cole Perry, Hunter Perry, Lane Hodge, Stacey Hatten, and Kevin Conley. Honorary pallbearers are Kelly Ford, Keith "Possum" Willard, and members of the NWTF.
