Funeral services for Mrs. Frances Marie Woodson, 87, are scheduled for 10 AM Thursday, July 31, 2014 at Golden Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Sistrunk officiating. Visitation will be held from 6 PM until 8 PM Wednesday, July 30 at Golden Funeral Home.
Mrs. Woodson, a homemaker and resident of Mer Rouge, loved working in her yard and loved flowers. She was an avid bird watcher, loved crocheting, and she was the photographer of the family.
She is survived by her daughters, Linda Adcock, Brenda Sistrunk; sons, Buddy Woodson, Steve Woodson; sister, Adeline Staggs; brother, Edward Haire; grandchildren, Dana Skains, Anna Smith, Paul Sistrunk, April Cox, Eddie Woodson, Dusty Woodson, Brandy Woodson, Alan Woodson; 23 great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
Mrs. Woodson is preceded in death by her parents; husband, William U. Woodson, Sr. and brother, Floyd Haire.
