Obituary of Minnie Rae Miley Armfield

Minnie Rae Miley Armfield, age 82, a homemaker, died August 16, 2014 at Cherry Ridge Guest Care. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at Greenacres Baptist Church with Bro. Tony Campanale officiating. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church. A private burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Armfield, a resident of Bastrop, LA, was an active charter member of Greenacres Baptist Church. She was very active in church activities until she was no longer able. Mrs. Armfield loved God, her family, and her church very much. Mrs. Armfield is preceded in death by her husband, Wilmer Armfield; son, Lynn Armfield; grandson, Lance Lindsay; two sisters and seven brothers. She is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Armfield Lindsay of Bastrop, LA; brothers, Woody Miley of North Little Rock, AR, Gene Miley of Baton Rouge, LA, and Wayne Miley of Ferriday, LA; five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and ten great great grandchildren.
