Obituary of Louise C. Coody

Funeral services for Mrs. Louise C. Coody are scheduled for 10:00 AM, Wednesday, September 17, 2014, at the Tillou Baptist Church with Rev. Doug Edwards officiating. Interment will follow in the Causey Cemetery. Mrs. Coody, a resident of Bastrop, LA, passed away Sunday, September 14, 2014, at the age of 85. She was a faithful member of the Tillou Baptist Church and will be remembered for her servant's heart and her love and devotion to her Lord. Her family was her heart and her desire was to love and take care of each of them. She is preceded in death by her husband Clifton Coody; her sister Omie Lowery; and two brothers, Clifton Cain and Charles Emory Cain. Mrs. Coody is survived by her son Charles Coody and wife Becky of Bastrop, LA; three grandchildren, Coby Graves and husband Rodney, Kayne Coody and wife Emily, and Caleb Coody and wife Leann; and three great grandchildren, Lillie Grace Graves, Hudson Coody, and Clay Coody. Serving as pallbearers are Carl Long, Dennis Kelly, Dennis Newell, Al Rea, Gary Warner, and Charlie Wilson. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation at Tillou Baptist Church from 6 - 8 PM on Tuesday, September 16, 2014. Services are under the direction of Golden Funeral Home of Bastrop.
