This is Albert , and Beverly Burton son Kevin Albert Burton at age 14 in October,1973. Also this is Kevin with his sons Brandon, and Brent Burton. At age 26, in 1985.

Alberts discharge records were destroyed in the National Archives Building fire in 1973.The U.S. Military recognized Al, as a military veteran, and received recognition for his Honorable service. He entered his service in January 1954 at Fort Jackson South Carolina, for basic training. After completion,he was sent to Fort Sill Oklahoma, to the 1st armored tank division, as a Mechanic. After Two years of service he was Honorably discharged in December 1956

This is my grandfather, Albert Francise Burton.(a.k.a.) Al. He lived to be 75 years old. He was married to Beverly ann McMilleion Burton for almost 57 years. They had one child Kevin albert Burton in 1959 in Monroe L.A., and Two Grandchildren,plus eight Great Grandchildren. He was a private in the U.S. Army from 1954-1956 he earned the National Defense Medal,and Cold War Victory Medal for his Honorable Service.He became an experienced tradesman in a variety of many fields over the years. He was loved, and respected, and will be missed for years to come
