Funeral services for Evon McDonald, 80, of Collinston, will be held at 10 AM Wednesday, January 4, 2006 at the Golden Funeral Home Chapel with ministers J.C. Oser and Dennis Kimball officiating. Interment will follow at Christ Church Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home.
Ms. McDonald, a homemaker and member of Bastrop Church of Christ , passed away Sunday, January 1, 2006 at St Francis North Hospital in Monroe, LA.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Edwin McDonald and two brothers.
Ms. McDonald is survived by a son, Ronald E. McDonald and wife Nadine of Jackson, TN; a brother, Gene Maxwell, Sr. and wife Edna of Collinston, LA; and two grandsons, Ronald W. McDonald and Keith E. McDonald both of Memphis, TN.
Pallbearers will be, Marshall Lenard, Tommy Maxwell, Michael Maxwell, Trey Maxwell, Jacob Maxwell, J. J. Maxwell, Josh Maxwell, and Chad Kimball.
Visitation will be Tuesday, January 3, 2006 from 5 - 8 PM at Golden Funeral Home.
