David Dear, I wish you had known how loved you were! You were so sweet to all, so generous with your time and talents for your friends, and so loving to all. It was evident that you were loved back by all thro' the large attendances at your Visitation and Service. So many remembrances and kind words that comforted your Mother. I loved you, too!

Dear Mrs. Smith, I was shocked and deeply saddened to hear of David's death. He was always very kind and made time to listen to me. I remember playing in the raked up leaves on your yard with David and Annette, sitting beside him in 8th grade English and whispering as we sat on the back row and hanging out with him when we were at nlu. Our dorms were next to one another. Mostly we would walk and Id talk and he'd listen to my drama. He was a great comfort to me. We lost touch after that. I was shocked when Robert told me. I cannot imagine loosing one of my children. I know God is close to the broken hearted and wiil be with you in your grief. I will continue to pray for his soul and your comfort.
