Obituary of Vickie Lynn Gregory

Funeral services for Mrs. Vickie Lynn Gregory, age 59, of Bastrop, LA are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday, October 3, 2014 in the Chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Britt Dupree officiating. Interment will follow in Bartholomew Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday at Golden Funeral Home. Mrs. Gregory was an avid supporter of the outdoors and shooting sports. She had a special love for the outdoors, animals, and cooking. She enjoyed sharing her passions with her grandchildren Zach and Edison who were two main loves in her life besides her best friend and husband Cliff. She leaves behind, her loving husband Clifton Ray Gregory; son, Hoyt Gregory and wife Emily; mother, Mary Aaron Sanders; sister, Amy Sanders Allen and husband David; brother, Rod Sanders and wife Vickie; grandchildren, Zachary and Edison Gregory; Daughter of her heart, Lyndie Scroggins; Nieces, Stephanie Brown, Kristy Sanders, April Agent and Felicia Mallard; numerous great nieces and nephews and extended family. Mrs. Gregory is preceded in death by her father, James Millage Sanders; grandparents, Wiley and Alma Aaron, Yancy and Linnie Sanders and a sister, Kim Sanders Mallard. Serving as pallbearers are: Rod Sanders, Pat Moore, Bruce Patterson, James Perry, Dewayne Gregory and Howard Townsend. Honorary pallbearers are: Tim Lowery, Ranny Reynolds, David Allen, Jerry Bogus, Mike Patterson, Dillin Brown and Ernest Falgo.
