Obituary of Mary Lancaster Whitten

Funeral services for Mary Lancaster Whitten, age 70, are scheduled for 3 p.m. Sunday, October 5, 2014 at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Sunday from 1-3 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home. Mrs. Whitten, a resident of Bastrop, LA, passed away Wednesday, October 1, 2014. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Whitten; son, Todd Whitten; parents, Joseph and Orell Lancaster; and brother, Larry Lancaster. She is survived by her grandson, Alex Whitten of Bastrop, LA; sisters, Nora Russell of El Dorado, AR, Jo Ann Whitten of Bastrop, LA; aunt, Kathleen Willis of Crossett, AR; cousins, Joyce Upshaw of Monroe, LA, Louise Seymore of El Dorado, AR; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Whitten's family will be gathering at the home of Jimi and Jo Ann Whitten, 703 Buatt Street, Bastrop, LA 71220.
