Obituary of Harry William Pruitt

Graveside services for Mr. Harry William Pruitt, age 57, will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday, October 7, 2008, at Carter Cemetery, with Thomas Strickland officiating, under the direction of Golden Funeral Home.
Mr. Pruitt, a resident of Bastrop, LA passed away Friday, October 3, 2008 at his residence in Bastrop. Harry lived in Maysville while growing up. He served in the U.S. Army for about one year. Harry worked for Odell Ritter for many years cutting broomcorn and hauling hay, and for C.F. Pyle at the Apco Service Station. At the time of his death, Harry was employed at Kinnaird Farms. Harry will be missed by his many family and friends who loved him.
Mr. Pruitt is survived by his mother and step father, Alice and Eugene Smith of Maysville, OK; six sisters, Mary Smith of Blackwell, OK, Sherry Cox of Lawton, OK, Renee Pruitt of Wynnewood, OK, Joyce Rollen of Sulphur, OK, Lois Smith of Stratford, OK,Imogene Gage of Helena, OK, and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Pruitt is preceded in death by his wife, Debbie Pruitt; father Finnes W. Pruett; and a sister, Ann Watson.
Mr. Pruitt's co-workers will be Honorary Pallbearers.
