Obituary of Annice Jinks McDougle

A memorial service for Mrs. Annice Jinks McDougle, of Bastrop, LA, is scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday, October 17, 2008 at the Chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Milton Pray officiating. Mrs. McDougle was born in Claiborne Parish on April 2, to parents, Elijah and Mary Jinks, and passed from this life on October 9, 2008 at Saint Francis North Hospital (Monroe). She is preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Verna Jinks Pettis; twin sister, Jannice Jinks; two brothers, Ernest Jinks, Hubert Jinks and an adopted daughter, Diane Harper Toms. Mrs. McDougle was an avid gardener and a decorator of great taste and skill. She was a friend to many. She is survived by her adopted children, Alton Benoit Harper, Charleen Harper Ramsey and husband Elvin, Scott Charles Harper and wife Kathy; sister-in-law, Faye Carolyn Estep Jinks; niece, Ernestine Jinks Harper and a host of other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
