Obituary of Helen V. Marsh

Funeral services for Mrs. Helen V. Marsh, age 78, are scheduled for 3 PM Saturday, November 22, 2014 in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Norman Bryant officiating. Interment will follow at Bonita Road Baptist Cemetery. Mrs. Marsh passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2014. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her children, Kathy Brown of Bastrop ,LA, Ronnie Odell Marsh and wife Cindy of Swartz, LA, Brenda Lee and husband Dannie of Bastrop, LA, Connie Andrepont and husband Kajun of Bastrop, LA; grandchildren, Dustin Brown and wife Melissa of Australia, Nathan Lee and wife Heather of Bastrop, LA, Brandee Yarbrough and husband Wes of Swartz, LA, Justin Odell Marsh and wife Heather of Swartz, LA, Whitley Johnson and husband Jake of Ringgold, LA, Tiffany Pruitt of Monroe, LA, Cody Pruitt of Bastrop, LA, Dawn Hardt of Texas; great grandchildren, Destin Odell Brown of Australia, Lexie Yarbrough of Bastrop, LA, Garrett Lee of Bastrop, LA, Mauri Kate Lee of Bastrop, LA, Scarlett Reese Johnson of Ringgold, LA, Ethan Yarbrough of Swartz, LA, Evan Yarbrough of Swartz, LA, Bailey Yarbrough of Swartz, LA Ashlynn Grace Pruitt of Bastrop, LA; siblings, Cloteal Trichell, Jimmy Ray McDonald, Pauline Greenwood, Benny McDonald, Doyle McDonald, and Ricky McDonald. Mrs. Marsh is preceded in death by her husband, Odell Marsh; granddaughter, Melissa Nicole Culp; brothers, Wesley McDonald, Earl McDonald, Eugene McDonald; sisters, Peggy Ann Hall, Darlene McDougald, Linda Kay McDonald, Ethel Mae McDonald and parents, Wilbur and Elma McDonald. Pallbearers will be; Dustin Brown, Nathan Lee, Justin Marsh, Cody Pruitt, Wes Yarbrough and Jake Johnson. Honorary pallbearers are Destin Odell Brown, Jimmy Ray McDonald, Benny McDonald, Doyle McDonald, and Ricky McDonald. Visitation will be Friday, November 21, 2014 from 5 PM - 8 PM at Golden Funeral Home.
