Obituary of Katie B. Parker

Funeral services for Katie B. Parker, age 89, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday January 18, 2006 at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Allan Eppinette & Rev. Louis Couch officiating. Burial will follow in Zachary Cemetery in Jones, LA. Mrs. Parker passed away January 16, 2006 at Cherry Ridge Guest Care. Visitation will be held Tuesday January 17, 2006 at Golden Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. Mrs. Parker was a former employee of Cherry Ridge Guest Care. She will be remembered as being a loving mother and grandmother. She is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, R.W. Parker. She is survived by two daughters, Billie Herrington of Bastrop, Judy Wells & husband Kenneth of Bastrop; two sons, Al Parker & wife Linda of Daisy, AR, Von Parker & wife Sue of West Monroe; nine grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
