Obituary of Azeal Porter Musgrove

Funeral services for Mrs. Azeal Porter Musgrove, age 89, of Bastrop, LA are scheduled for 3 p.m. Sunday, November 2, 2008 at the Chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Bro. Butch Goodman officiating. Interment will follow in the Musgrove family cemetery (Concord). Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Saturday, November 1, 2008 at Golden Funeral Home. Mrs. Musgrove, a retired clerk at City Drug Store for 32 years, passed away Friday morning, October 31, at the Oak Woods Home for the Elderly in Mer Rouge. She was very devoted to her family and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Mrs. Musgrove is survived by two daughters, Sherry Brown of Bastrop, LA, Linda Price and husband Ronny of Toledo Bend, LA; three sons, William D. Musgrove and wife Donna of Cabot, AR, Julian Musgrove and wife Nelda of Atlanta, TX, Tab Musgrove and wife Susan of Bastrop, LA; sister, Emma Lou Buffington of Bastrop, LA; seventeen grandchildren, thirty six great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Bill Musgrove; two sisters and four brothers. Her grandsons and great grandsons will serve as pallbearers: Bo Brown, Ronald Price, Jay Musgrove, Rian Musgrove, Will Musgrove, Dennis Ralph Carney, Raymond Boire and Daniel Carney. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to: Premier Hospice or Oak Woods Home for the Elderly.
