Funeral service for Linda Kay McDonald, 56, of Bastrop, LA are scheduled for 2 PM Tuesday, January 24, 2006 at Golden Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Louis Couch and Greg McDonald officiating. Interment will follow at Bonita Road Baptist Church Cemetery. Ms. McDonald, a member of Maplewood Baptist Church and who loved to sing, passed away January 21, 2006. She attended the ARC of Morehouse and participated in the Special Olympics where she won several medals. She was a very, very special person and she was loved by all who knew her. She loved her baby dolls, her family and most of all her Lord. Ms. McDonald is survived by five sisters, Helen Marsh, Cloteal Trichel and her husband Woody, Pauline Greenwood and her husband Larry, Darlene McDougald and her husband William, Peggy Hall and her husband Billy all of Bastrop, LA; six brothers, Wesley McDonald and his wife Beverly of Houston, TX, Earl McDonald and his wife June of Bastrop, LA, Jimmy McDonald and his wife Ginny of Long View, TX, Benny McDonald and his wife Pam of North Carolina, Doyle McDonald of Bastrop, LA, Ricky McDonald and his wife Kathy of Bastrop, LA and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, Wilbur McDonald; mother, Elma McDonald; brother, Eugene McDonald and sister, Ethel Mae McDonald. Serving as pallbearers will be Bryan Greenwood, Joe Powell, Greg McDonald, Scott Hall, Ronnie Marsh and Dannie Lee. Visitation will be Monday, January 23, 2006 from 5 PM until 9 PM at Golden Funeral Home.
