Funeral services for Mrs. Katherine A. Rawls, 85, a retired Administrative Clerk for the Corp of Engineers and resident of Bastrop, LA are scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday, November 14, 2008 at Bonita Road Baptist Church with Rev. Marty Black officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. service time Friday, November 14, 2008 at Bonita Road Baptist Church.
Mrs. Rawls passed away Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at Cherry Ridge Guest Care. She was a member of Bonita Road Baptist Church.
Mrs. Rawls is survived by one step-daughter, Shirley Rawls Evans and husband Ronald of Whitehall, AR; one step-son, Menice M."Buddy" Rawls, Jr. of Bastrop, LA; four step-grandchildren; and 5 step-great grandchildren.
Mrs. Rawls was preceded in death by her husband, Menice M. Rawls and a sister Louise Carlson.
