Obituary of Arthur Will Sowyers

Funeral services for Mr. Arthur Will Sowyers, 67, of Bastrop, LA. will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, January 28, 2005 at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Allan Eppinette officiating. Interment will be in the Bonita Road Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Sowyers, a retired farmer, passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2006 at Morehouse General Hospital. He is survived by his daugter, Shannon Sowyers of Bastrop, LA; two sons, Tommy Will Sowyers and wife Paula of Bastrop, LA, Brandon Sowyers of Bastrop, LA; step daughter, Donna Patterson of MS; three sisters, Bertha Bays of Crossett, AR, Sheila Hawkins of Bastrop, LA, Mamie Bonnette of Crosby, MS; two brothers, Henry Ray Sowyers of Hamburg, AR, Raymond Sowyers of Bossier City, LA and eleven grandchildren. Mr. Sowyers is preceded in death by his wife, Agnes Michelle Sowyers; grandson, Jeremy Wade, two sisters, Willie Jo Sowyers, Melissie McGhee and a brother, James Sowyers. Serving as pallbearers are: Derek Harper, Kevin Eppinette, Donald Hawkins, Eric Heath, Steven Burnham and Troy Sowyers. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Friday, January 27, 2006 at Golden Funeral Home.
