Funeral services for John LeGuin, Sr., age 51, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday January 29, 2006 at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Cal Adams officiating. Burial will follow in Christ Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday January 28, 2006 from 5-9 p.m. at Goldens.
Mr. LeGuin, a resident of Bastrop, passed away January 26, 2006 at Minden Medical Center after a lengthy illness. He was a carpenter and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He is preceded in death by his father, H.T. LeGuin; wife and mother of his children, Kathy LeGuin.
He is survived by his mother, Lorene LeGuin of Bastrop; three sons, John LeGuin, Jr. of Alpharetta, GA, Kenny LeGuin of Cummins, GA, and Chris LeGuin of Cummins, GA.
Pallbearers will be Ray Lee, Tommy Barr, Rodney Dew, Jim Bonner, Jerry Tomlin, Doug Nations.
