Obituary of Kurt Kane Wall

Kurt Kane Wall was born August 27, 1964 and went home to be with his Lord, Sunday, November 23, 2008. Kurt will be remembered by many for his quick sense of humor and good heart. He was a roofer by trade. Kurt will be missed by his family and a lot of our laughter goes with him. He was a special son and brother. We lived together, worked together, cried together and laughed together. Our hearts are broken, but our Lord will see us through and we'll meet again some glad day. Kurt's homegoing will be Friday, November 28, 2008 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Golden Funeral Home. Pastor Eugene Brown and Pastor Jeff Willis will be officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 26, 2008 from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home. Kurt is preceded in death by his father, James Wall; brother, Jesse Lane and grandparents, Lorene and Pat Deville. Survivors include his two daughters, Bridgette Wall of Bastrop, LA, Saleena Singleton of Bernice, LA; grandaughter, Aubrey Grace Singleton of Bernice, LA; mother and step-father, Jessie and James Pearson of Bastrop, LA; three close brothers and the best of friends, Frank, Mark and Jamie Wall; special sister, Sheena Pearson; two half brothers, Damon and Dale Porter of Texas; three half brothers, Roger, Bobby and Jimmy Wall; two half sisters, Diane Tyson and Shirley Murphy and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews. Serving as pallbearers will be: Steve Daigle, Mike Hart, Sam Stokes, Jack Thames, Stacey Thames and Jim Sawyer.
