Funeral services for Robert H. Petty, age 67, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday February 2, 2006 at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Barker officiating. Burial will follow in Red Wing Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday at Golden Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m.
Mr. Petty, a resident of Bastrop, passed away Monday January 30, 2006 at Lincoln General Hospital. He was retired from International Paper Company. Mr. Petty is preceded in death by his parents, Lois Pardon and Ivey Petty; son, Charles E. Petty; sister, Mary Glockner; and brother, William Petty.
He is survived by his wife, Sherry Petty; daughter, Cathy Robertson; son, Robert M. Petty; three sisters, Ruthie Whorton & husband Glen, Marie Williams & husband "Buddy", Emmie Nelson; brother, Raymond L. Petty; six grandchildren, Amanda Petty, Krystal Petty, Alicia Little, Robin Petty, Dustin Robertson, Patrick Petty.
