Obituary of Kenneth Wayne Hale

Funeral services for Mr. Kenneth Wayne Hale, age 62, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Herring officiating. Interment will follow in Beulah Cemetery, Fiske Union, LA. Visitation will be held Tuseday from 5-8 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home. Mr. Hale, a resident of Bastrop, passed away Sunday, December 26, 2010. He was a resident of Bastrop and a retired employee of International Paper Company. Mr. Hale was a member of the masonic lodge and active in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He is preceded in death by his wife, Linda Sue Hale; brothers, Ronald Hale, Elton Hale, Felton Hale, Arnold Hale, Thomas Hale; and mother, Fronie Hale. Mr. Hale is survived by two daughters, Angie Montgomery and husband Charlie of Bastrop, LA, Belinda Johnson of Bastrop, LA; three sisters, Maxine Case of Bastrop, LA, Judy Thompson and husband Bobby of Bastrop, LA, Ettiwayne Lee and husband Jerry of Dawson, IA; two brothers, Lavelle Hale and wife Linda of Higginsville, MO, Max Hale and wife Julie of Bastrop, LA; four grandchildren, Amelia Montgomery, Alyssa Montgomery, Garrett Johnson, Kandace Vail and husband Derrick, ; and great granddaughter, Britney Vail. Serving as pallbearers will be Greg Duke, Shane Hale, Donald Hale, David Hale, Calvin Lambert, and Leroy Currington.
