Obituary of Clara Margaret Castleberry

Funeral services for Mrs. Clara Margaret Castleberry, 77, of Sterlington, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, February 4, 2006 at the Chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Lowe and Dr. Vic Carter officiating. Interment will follow in Christ Church Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home.
Mrs. Castleberry, a graduate of the University of San Fransisco, passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2006 at her residence. She loved to travel and was an avid golfer. She was a member of the Morehouse Parish Country Club.
She is survived by four sons, Jimmy Lortz and wife Johnnie of Sterlington, LA, Eddie Lortz of Monroe, LA, Michael Pardee of Sacramento, CA, Steven Pardee of Lake Tahoe, NV; brother, James Payne and wife Bessie of Redding, CA; six grandchildren, Devin Lortz, Amber Lortz, Aaron Pardee, Elan Pardee, Bryan Pardee, Spencer Pardee and one great granddaughter, Callie Pardee.
Mrs. Castleberry is preceded in death by her parents, Ralph Payne and Lucy Bryan Spargur.
Serving as pallbearers are: Todd Ryder, Calvin Lusby, Glen Ryder, Barry Ryder, Willie Yeager, Mike Allen, Gary Castleberry and Brad Bridges.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Friday, February 3, 2006 at Golden Funeral Home.
