Obituary of Josephine Bienz Myrick

Funeral services for Mrs. Josephine B. Myrick are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 7, 2006 at Antioch Baptist Church with Revs. Lynn Townsend, Jerry Shows and Jerry Price officiating. Interment will be in the Bonita Road Baptist Church cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Mrs. Myrick, a very loving wife, mother and grandmother, was a charter member of Antioch Baptist Church where she taught sunday school and vacation bible school for many years. She helped many people by nursing them back to health when they were ill. She is survived by a daughter, Pam Myrick Clark of Bastrop, LA; two sons, Rev. Andy Myrick and wife Brenda of Bastrop, LA, Jeremy O'neal Myrick of Bastrop, LA; sister, Marie Jones and husband James of Choudrant, LA, brother, Carl Bienz and wife Omega of Collinston, LA, two grandchildren, LaDonna Myrick Smith and husband Mark of West Monroe, LA, Jessica Renea Florinza of Bastrop, LA; two great grandchildren, Caroline and Kalie Smith of West Monroe, LA; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. Mrs. Myrick is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, C.O. "Shorty" Myrick and parents, Clarence and Vadis Bienz. Serving as pallbearers are: Olan Haynes, Ritchie Redding, Brian Bienz, Mark Bienz, Mark Smith Greg Madden, Tony Kyles and Jamie Rainbolt. Honorary pallbearers are: Bob, Tommy and Frank Cooper, Dan Hayes, Jack Hankins, Bruce Hankins, Mike Avery, Robbie Jackson and Dr. Allen Spires. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Monday at the church.
