Graveside services for Mr. John Collett, age 68, were held at 1 p.m. Sunday February 12, 2006 at Carter Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home with American Legion Chaplain Gary Black officiating. Mr. Collett, a resident of Mer Rouge, passed away Saturday February 11, 2006 at Oak Woods Home for the Elderly. He was retired from International Paper Company and a veteran of the U.S. Army.
