Obituary of J W Kimball

Funeral arrangements for Mr. J W Kimball are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday, January 8, 2009 at Cherry Ridge Baptist Church with Rev. Cal Adams officiating. Interment will follow in Red Wing Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5-9 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home. Mr. Kimball, age 80 and a resident of Bastrop, passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2009 at Morehouse General Hospital. He was a retired employee of International Paper Company and a member of Cherry Ridge Baptist Church. Mr. Kimball is survived by his wife, Billie Kimball; son, Gary Kimball of Minden, LA; grandson, Ryan Kimball of West Monroe, LA; one sister; and two brothers. Pallbearers will be Mitch Tackett, Rickey Tackett, Kevin Tackett, Brad Spainhower, Mike Tackett, Steve Spainhower, and Jeff Spainhower. Honorary pallbearers are Jerry Goodman, John Tackett, Earl Tackett, A.G. Tate, and James Turner.
