Obituary of Frances C. Russell

Funeral services for Mrs. Frances C. Russell, age 83, are scheduled for 11 a.m. Monday, January 26, 2009 at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Cal Adams and Rev. Bo Horne officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday from 5-8 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home. Mrs. Russell, a homemaker, passed away Saturday, January 24, 2009 at Morehouse General Hospital. She was a resident of Bastrop and a member of Cherry Ridge Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, Christopher Lela and Lonnie Word Cheshier; brother, C.L. Cheshier; and four sisters, Gladys Tipton, Trecie Smith, Sue Seymore, and Merle Kauffman. She is survived by her husband, Glen Russell of Bastrop; two sisters, Ruby Hugueley of Kenton, TN, Bea Rhodes of Rison, AR; and several nieces and nephews. Serving as pallbearers will be Gerald Young, Jimmy C. Smith, Chris Hugueley, Shawn Hugueley, Rex Tipton, and John Smith.
