Obituary of Mary Lois Towles Naff

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Lois Towles Naff, age 77, of Bastrop, LA are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at the Chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Rosemary Stelz officiating. Interment will follow in Beekman Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday at Golden Funeral Home. Mrs. Naff, a member of First Presbyterian Church and the Ladies Circle, passed away Sunday, February 1, 2009 at Morehouse General Hospital. She is survived by her son, Derrall Naff of Foreman, AR; sister, Frances Herrington of Bastrop, LA; brother, Dub Towles of McGehee, AR; grandson, Jared Elijah Naff of Katy, TX and a very special cousin, Jeanette Freeman of Bastrop, LA. Mrs. Naff is preceded in death by her husband William "Bill" Elijah Naff; son, Gerald Layne Naff; mother, Rosa Towles Smith; father, Noel Towles and brother, Raymond Towles. Serving as pallbearers are her nephews: Billy Don Towles, Clifford Towles, Craig Towles, John Towles, Ray Towles and Doug Herrington. Honorary pallbearers are: Dean Freeman and Dr. Robert E. Lyon. The family wishes to thank Nurse, Donna Cox and Respiratory Therapist, Linda Richard for the special care given to Mrs. Naff at Morehouse General Hospital.
