Obituary of Mary Frances Lowther Sisk

Graveside funeral services for Mary Frances Lowther Sisk, age 82, are scheduled for 4 p.m. Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at Carter Cemetery with Rev. Dale Jordan officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home. Mrs. Lowther, a resident of Mer Rouge, passed away Sunday, February 8, 2009 at Oak Woods Home for the Elderly. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She is preceded in death by her husband, Pitman Sisk and her parents, Charles and Wilmer Wilson Lowther. She is survived by her daughter, Mittie Mae Thomas of Mer Rouge; her son, Johnny Charles Sisk and friend Kathy Inmon of Bastrop; two brothers, Ray Lowther of Bastrop, Johnny Jefferson Lowther; three grandchildren, Kim Harris and husband Steve, LaDonna Gale Womack and husband Andy, Keith "Bubba" Thomas and wife Bobbie Lynn; and four great grandchildren, Cole Harris, Kristen Womack, Calob Brown, and Josh Thomas. Serving as pallbearers will be Steve Harris, Cole Harris, Andy Womack, Keith Thomas, Calob Brown, and Josh Thomas.
