Funeral service for Thomas Ira Wilmore, Jr., age 71, of Bastrop, LA are scheduled for 1 PM Friday, March 3, 2006 at Faith Baptist Church with Rev. Cal Adams, Rev. Paul Carter and Rev. Jim Taylor officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Wilmore, an Educational Supervisor for the Morehouse Parish School Board and member of Faith Baptist Church, passed away Tuesday , February 28, 2006. He also served his country in the Army as a paramedic during the Korean War. Mr. Wilmore is survived by his wife, Vickie L. Wilmore; daughter, Jackie Wilmore of Bastrop, LA; stepdaughter, Angie Jarvis of Camden, AR; sons, Jeff Wilmore and wife Debbie of Monroe, LA, Jarred Wilmore and wife Susan of Bastrop, LA, Charles Wilmore and wife Rebecca of New Orleans, LA, Thomas I. Wilmore III and Fiancee' Jana Morrison both of Bastrop, LA; stepson, Brandon Loveday and wife Misty of Bastrop, LA; sisters, Joy Carlton of St. Amant, LA, Rita Gremillion and husband Charles of Alexandria, LA, Patsy Frederic and husband Norman of St. Amant, LA; brother, Johnnie W. Wilmore and wife Mildred of LeCompte, LA; grandchildren, Lindzay Wilmore, Emily Anthony, Jourdan Wilmore, Morgan Wilmore, Jacob Pickett, Drake Wilmore, Bailey Willis, Garrison Loveday, Nolan Loveday; great grandchildren, Brayden Spigner, Tanner Spigner and Emmie Rose Anthony. He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas I. Wilmore, Sr. and wife Jewel. Pallbearers will be Brent Creel, Josh Creel, Jimmy Sistrunk, Eddie Pickett, Brandon Loveday and Jamie Jones. Honorary pallbearers will be J.C. Anderson and Floyd Ellingburg. Visitation will be Thursday, March 2, 2006 from 5 PM until 9 PM at Golden Funeral Home.
