Funeral service for Caressa Thomas, 94, formerly of the Bonne Idee Community are scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 31, 2004 at Golden Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. William Fowler officating. Burial will follow in Mer Rouge Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home
Mrs. Thomas , a member of Horseshoe Baptist Church and a homemaker, passed away August 29 in West Monroe, LA.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Levern Thomas.
Mrs. Thomas is survived by two daughters,Jean Stanley of Gilbert, LA, Dorothy Cawthon and husband George of West Monroe, LA; son, Jimmy Thomas of Bernice, LA; sister, Nannie Belle Ray of Carthage, TX; nine grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday,August 30, 2004 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home.
