Obituary of Horace Douglas "H.D." Moore

Graveside funeral services for Mr. Horace Douglas "H.D." Moore, age 89, are scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at Antioch Cemetery in Hamburg, AR. with Rev. Tim Post officiating. Visitation will be held Monday from 5-9 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home. Mr. Moore, a mechanic and farmer, passed away Saturday, March 21, 2009 at Morehouse General Hospital. He was a resident of Bastrop. He had served in the U.S. Navy after World War II. He is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Rae Moore and two sons, Doug Moore and William Horace Moore. He is survived by two daughters, Gail Tatum of Bastrop and Janna Wooten and her husband Bobby of Bastrop; one son, Kevin Moore of Bastrop; son of the heart, Cliff Gregory and wife Vickie of Bastrop; daughter-in-law, Nancy Moore; six grandchildren, Angela McDaniel, Ben Moore, Douglas Glenn Anderson, Russell Anderson, Pat Moore, Taryn Moore; and two great grandchildren, Hunter Moore and Addison McDaniel.
