Obituary of Gloria Tull Collins

Funeral services for Gloria Tull Collins, 69, of Bastrop, LA are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday, March 17, 2006 at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Mr. Charles Sisk delivering the Eulogy. Interment will follow in Christ Church Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Mrs. Collins was a retired supervisor with the medical records department at Morehouse General Hospital, having served there for 32 years. She passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2006 at Morehouse General Hospital. She was a member of First Baptist Church, the American Health Information Management Association, the Morehouse Country Club and served as secretary in the Morehouse Country Club Ladies Golf Association. Mrs. Collins is survived by her husband, Carl Collins; three daughters, Donna Moncrief and husband Mike of Monroe, LA, Terri Young and husband Jimmy of Monroe, LA, Gerri Rushing and husband Tim Allen of Bastrop, LA; step son, Clyde Collins and wife Crystal of Monroe, LA; sister, Charlotte Tull LeCroy of Hot Springs, AR; two brothers, Bill Tull of Sterlington, LA, Bernie Dee Tull, Jr. of Shreveport, LA; four grandchildren, Jessica Rosenberg, Aaron Rosenberg, Heather Golden and Patrick Golden. She is preceded in death by her parents, Bernie Dee Tull, Sr. and Annie Maude Tull and a sister, Bettie Tull Bryant. Serving as pallbearers are: Charlie Bryant, Danny Bryant, Bernie Dee Tull, Jr., Bill Tull, Gary Farley and Mike Parker. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday at Golden Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family wishes that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.
