Funeral services for Samuel F. Jones, 62, of Bastrop, are scheduled for 2 PM Sunday, March 26, 2006 at Bonita Road Baptist Church with the Rev. David William, of Plant Baptist Church in Clinton, AR, who led Samuel to the Lord, officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery, under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 5 PM to 9 PM Saturday, March 25, 2006 at Golden Funeral Home. Samuel was born September 18, 1943 in Bastrop, LA, which was his home for most of his life. Samuel was known as one of the best brick masons before moving to Clinton, AR. He was a loving Husband, Daddy, PawPaw, Brother, Son and Uncle. His mother, Lizzie Dell Grimmett Jones, his father, Stecile Jones, his brother, Robert Leon Jones, his grandson, Justin Derek Jones, and his mother-in-law, Rena Mae Mercer Couch, precedes him in death. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Edna Mae Couch Jones; only child, daughter, Amanda Faye Jones-Pecoraio, known to him as "Baby", and her husband Lou of Lindenwold, NJ; grandchildren, Samantha, Victoria, and Louis Anthony Pecoraio all of Lindenwold, NJ; sisters, Vivian Estess of El Dorado, AR, Leota Mann of Bastrop, LA, Susan Voss and husband Ray of El Dorado, AR, brothers, Roger Dale Jones and wife Betty of Bastrop, LA, Roy Stecile Jones of Bastrop, LA, John Hopkins and wife Theresa of Bastrop, LA, Lawrence Hopkins and wife Juanita of Oak Grove, LA; second mother, Inez Jones of Bastrop, LA; father-in-law, Louis H. Couch and wife Debbie of Bastrop, LA; sisters-in-law, Brenda Madden of Clinton, AR, Vicky Madden of Bastrop, LA; brothers-in-law, Louis E. Couch and wife Kathy of Bastrop, LA, Del Wayne Couch and wife Glenda of Clinton, AR. He is also leaving behind a large family of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and friends. He will be greatly missed for his unconditional love and kindness. During his short time here on this earth he touched too many lives to mention and Daddy, I will never forget you. Pallbearers will be: Roger Jones, Jr., Russell Jones, Ricky Grimmett, Kerry Harris, Rusty Fulmer, and B. W. Fulmer. Honorary pallbearers will be: J. T. Jones, Roy Jones, and Roger Jones.
