Obituary of Twila Mae Hill Malone

Funeral services for Mrs. Twila Mae Hill Malone, age 72, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday April 1, 2006 at First Baptist Church with Rev. Paul Carter and Dr. L.H. McCollough officiating. Burial will follow in Start Cemetery, Start, LA. Mrs. Malone, a resident of Bastrop, passed away Wednesday March 29, 2006 at St. Francis North Hospital. Mrs. Malone was a member of First Baptist Church in Bastrop, and an AARP volunteer tax aid for the elderly. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Mae Hill. She is survived by her husband, F.R. "Tot" Malone; daughter, Rebecca Malone Moak and husband Tom of Seymor, TN; son, Rusty Malone and wife Charon of Dallas, TX; brothers, Houston C. Hill of Bossier City, LA, John Austin Hill of Crew Lake, LA; four grandchildren, Stephanie Thomas, Susannah Malone, Jim Moak, and Andy Moak. Visitation will be held Friday from 5-9 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Louisiana Baptist Church Childrens Home.
