Funeral service for Ruby Pearl Chamberlain, 89, of Bastrop, LA, are scheduled for 10 AM Friday, September 3, 2004 at Golden Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Chapman officiating. Interment will follow in Christ Church Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home.
Mrs. Chamberlain, a retired District Distributor for the Monroe News-Star here in Bastrop and member of White Avenue Baptist Church, died Wednesday, September 1, 2004 at Summerlin Lane Nursing Home.
She is survived by a daughter, Monica Harris and husband Charles of Bastrop, LA ; a son, Richard Chamberlain and wife Becky of Jasper, TX ; a sister, Mickey Perry of Bastrop, LA ; a sister-in-law, Lorine Thomas of Buna, TX ; four grandchildren, Jeff Harris and wife Susan , Mark Harris and wife Stephenie , Neil Chamberlain and wife Lynda , Carol Lozoya and husband Ruben and 11 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Gilos Jefferson Chamberlain ; brother, Ervin Thomas and great granddaughter, Hannah Harris.
Serving as pallbearers are: Jeff Harris, Mark Harris, Neil Chamberlain, Ruben Lozoya, Don Thomas and Ricky Perry.
Visitation will be from 5 PM until 8:30 PM Thursday, September 2, 2004 at Golden Funeral Home.
