Obituary of Jr. Greenwood

Funeral services for William Bart Greenwood, Jr., age 55, are scheduled for 3 p.m. Tuesday April 4, 2006 at Canaan Church in Bastrop with Rev. Jonathan Wiggins and Mike Goyne officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday evening from 5-9 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home. Mr. Greenwood, a resident of Bastrop, passed away Saturday April 1, 2006 in Arkadelphia, AR. He was employed by International Paper Company as an Enviromental Manager. He was a reserve deputy for the Morehouse Parish Sheriff's Office and a member of the National Hot Rod Association. Mr. Greenwood had served in the Louisiana National Guard. He is preceded in death by his parents, William Bart Greenwood, Sr. and Pearl Greenwood. He is survived by his wife, Robin; two sons, William Bart Greenwood III & wife Kelly of Bastrop, Corey Lynn Greenwood of New Orleans; two grandchildren, William Bart Greenwood, IV and Tyler Rae Greenwood, both of Bastrop; three sisters, JoAnn Whitaker of Dallas, TX, Gerri Magee of Shreveport, Laine Hardin of Jackson, MS. Serving as pallbearers will be Cliff Hall, Bardell Bostick, Tommy Hall, John Brodnax, Terrell Trichell, B.J. Greenwood, Cal Kinnaird, and Ted Grimes. Honorary pallbearer will be Clint Hall.
