Obituary of Alyce Farmer

Funeral services for Alyce Farmer, age 67, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday April 8, 2006 at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Todd Wooden, Rev. Rawls Pierce, and Rev. Charles Germany officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Grove South Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday evening at Goldens from 5-7 p.m.
Mrs. Farmer, a homemaker, passed away Wednesday April 5, 2006 at her home after a long illness. She was preceded in death by her father, Maynard Chaney and a granddaughter, Amber Miller.
Mrs. Farmer is survived by her husband of 47 years, Glynn Farmer; daughter, Cathy Miller of Bastrop; mother, Ruby Chaney of Anderson, MO; granddaughters, Sierra and Courtney Johnson of Mayflower, AR, Tori and Hope Miller, Madycen Hodges, all of Bastrop; and a very special "son" and "granddaughter", Ricky Halterman and Krystal Fontenot, both of Bastrop.
Pallbearers will be DeWayne Bridges, Tommy Fontenot, Danny Evans, Ricky Halterman, David Hodges and Bruce Kinnaird.
