Funeral services for Betty Jo "Midget" Pettis, 63, will be held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday June 21, 2009 in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Bro. Theron Jones officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday June 20, 2009 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home.
Mrs. Pettis, a resident of Swartz and a retired Licensed Practical Nurse, passed away Tuesday June 16, 2009 at her residence. Mrs. Pettis was a member of Concord Primative Baptist Church and a member of the Red Hat Ladies. She is preceded in death by her parents, Homer "Cat" Pettis and Geneva Musgrove Pettis; and a sister, Mary Katherine Pettis.
Mrs. Pettis is survived by two daughters, Dee Espinoza of Monroe, LA, Geneva Anjanette Espinoza of Los Angeles, CA; two sisters, Margie Pettis of Bastrop, LA, Ouida "Toot" Beck of Pine Bluff, AR; one brother, Paul "Bubby" Pettis of Chickasaw, AL; one granddaughter, Isabella Erhuero of Los Angeles, CA; and several nieces and nephews.
