Obituary of Johnnie Mae Morgan Gregory

Funeral services for Mrs. Johnnie Mae Morgan Gregory, 79, of Bastrop, LA are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday, April 24, 2006 at Central Missionary Baptist Church with Revs. Britt Dupree, Phillip McCready and Charles McLean officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Mrs. Gregory passed away Saturday, April 22, 2006 at Saint Francis Medical Center in Monroe. She was a member and sunday school teacher at Central Missionary Baptist Church, a volunteer Cub Scout leader and was involved in many other civic and community activities. She is survived by three daughters, Velma Brodnax, Georgia White and husband Ken, Lois Jordan and husband Clifford; two sons, William Elec Gregory and wife Rose, Clifton Gregory and wife Vickie all of Bastrop, LA; brother, Austin Morgan of Rayville, LA; seven Grandchildren, Waylon White, Jody White, Dustin Jordan, Shayne Gregory, Stacy White, Hoyt Gregory, Lynette Gregory and four great grandchildren, Hunter Gregory, Parker Jordan, Zack Gregory and Ainsley White. Mrs. Gregory is preceded in death by her husband George O. Gregory. Serving as pallbearers are: John White, Dewayne Gregory, Hoyt Gregory, Dustin Jordan, Shayne Gregory, Billy Hall and Scott Hall. Serving as honorary pallbearer is Waylon White. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Sunday at Golden Funeral Home.
